About this group…

A group to support women recovering from emotionally abusive relationships rebuild their confidence and self esteem so that they can be empowered to ask for what they want, forge fulfilling relationships and experience phenomenal intimacy.

We focus on gaining clarity and confidence in our intuition, commanding respect and having healthy boundaries, and learning to cultivate pleasurable feelings in our body that will decrease stress and suffering.

Gentle Terms…

  • Please refrain from promotional posting in the group or disrespecting other members here.

  • We are creating a safe space.

  • Every once in a while I will share information about my programs in this group.

  • If you are committed to transformational change, welcome!

You have eloquently put into words the same things I have thought about. Especially this group, it is different, empowering and loving. Ailsa Keppie helps us create individual manageable strategies to evolve into who we truly are. It is more about loving ourselves than putting down and/or bitching about those who have caused us so much pain💓I thank the heavens I found this group.

I am an intimacy and somatic coach and educator. I've worked hands on with clients for over 10 years. Before that, I was living in Morocco as a sister wife and under strict Islamic fundamentalist rules, after a short stint as a trapeze artist in the circus! I left that part of my life and now my four wonderful and empowered daughters and I live in Canada. There is more to this story... am working on a book :) I now have an online program to help women recovering from emotional abuse to rebuild their confidence and find passion, intimacy and pleasure. What Facebook Group members have said...

I am enjoying your Facebook page. You are off to a great start of creating a safe space. I can't think of anyone that has not been emotionally abused by the patriarch and then it just filters down. Some women's stories are heartbreaking.

Your idea of connecting through the body is brilliant as so many women are disconnected from their body's and don't even know it. I remember when I came to my own awareness I didn't have a body beyond my neck as only my intellect and knowledge was valued. In many ways I feel I have birthed into my body. — S.M.
